Esta primera semana vamos a tratar la rodilla. Esta articulación soporta todo el peso del cuerpo en el despegue y recepción en los saltos, y es de suma importancia para la marcha y carrera. En la rodilla tenemos 3 huesos unidos: el extremo inferior del fémur, el extremo superior de la tibia, y la rótula (el brazo de palanca es aumentado en el aparato extensor de la rodilla). Uno de los casos que más tratamos en la clínica es la rehabilitación tras cirugía en el ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA). El LCA se inserta por debajo con la zona intercondílea anterior de la tibia, la inserción anterior del menisco lateral y la inserción anterior del menisco interno. Los motivos de ruptura del ligamento cruzado anterior vienen habitualmente dados por:
En Celtis realizamos un seguimiento muy específico desde la operación de nuestro paciente, hasta su llegada a nuestro centro para iniciar la rehabilitación. Una vez en Celtis realizamos los siguientes tratamientos para asegurarnos una buena recuperación:
- Movilidad de la pierna
- Tratamiento de la cicatriz
- Propiocepción de la rodilla
- Reactivación de la musculatura
- Masoterapia
- Readaptación de la pierna a actividades diarias
- Ejercicios de tonificaicón
- Ejercicios de musculación
Otra lesión muy común en nuestros pacientes, que puede repercutir en otras zonas de nuestro cuerpo (variando incluso la forma de pisar que tienen), es una disfunción anterior de la tibia.
Esta disfunción se produce cuando la tibia no va bien en su movimiento hacia posterior, lo que provoca una perdida en la rotación interna del pie.
Como podemos ver en la ilustración 2 que tenemos a continuación, esto va a provocar tensión en el ligamento lateral interno y en el ligamento cruzado anterior, una compresión de los cuernos posteriores de los meniscos y tensión en los tendones cuadricipital y rotuliano.
Esta disfunción puede provocar:
- Una compresión de los cueros posteriores de los meniscos.
- Tensión del ligamento lateral interno y del LCAE.
- Tensión del tendón cuadricipital y rotuliano.
- Una posible limitación de la flexión.
- Posible compresión de los cuernos posteriores meniscales en la flexión final.
- Tensión en los tejidos anteriores durante la flexión.
En Celtis siempre realizamos primero una valoración general de la rodilla, para luego pasar a una valoración más analítica de cada estructura que forma la articulación de la rodilla.
En este caso valoraríamos si la tibia de nuestro paciente esta en disfunción anterior o posterior y, a continuación, realizaríamos una terapia de movilización de la tibia.
